Winter Fatbiking

Fatbiking in winter is a growing sport throughout Canada and other wintry locations. BLMBA purchased a Rokon two-wheel-drive motorcycle and a plow to help with grooming. With that, the club and its volunteers are working to maintain a few different options for fatbiking including around Kager Lake (where foot traffic is also encouraged) and a few bike park trails.

BLMBA and Burnt Bikes plans ladies' rides on Thursdays and group rides on Sundays frequently. Occasional workbees (snowshoeing tracks) also occur. Follow the BLMBA Facebook page and Burnt Bikes Facebook page for updates.

We try to keep Trailforks updated with the most recent groomed conditions

Whether you’re using the trails for fatbiking, snowshoeing or just walking Kager, please consider getting a BLMBA Membership or just donating to help offset some of the grooming costs. Burnt Bikes and White Goat Coffee have also collaborated to create the Burnt Bikes White Goat Coffee Club. To join the coffee club, contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
